Please Take the 2021 NEI Benefit Plans Survey

Benefits are complicated. And a lot has changed since we last surveyed members about the NEI Health Benefit Plan and the NEI Pension Plan. So, we’re looking for your feedback — and feedback from others in your household — who may also make benefit decisions. We want to learn how much you and they understand about your benefits, and your preferences for the methods we use to communicate benefit information.

We need your feedback to make sure:

  • Health benefits through the NEI Health Benefit Plan and retirement benefits through the NEI Pension Plan are easy to use and understand
  • You’re getting the information you need
  • We’re communicating via methods that work best for you

To accomplish this, we’re conducting an online survey for active members, spouses/partners, and retirees, followed by some informal, virtual focus groups. We hope to have our member feedback complete and analyzed by early fall. Your opinions will give us a better understanding of how the NEI Benefit Plans are working for you and will help shape the way we communicate information about them.

About the survey

You’ll be able to access the survey from neibenefits.org starting July 15. The survey will be open for one month; please respond only once. All survey answers are completely confidential; they cannot be tracked back to you or your family. You can complete the survey on a smartphone, tablet, or computer. It should take about 10 minutes.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact the Fund Office. We appreciate your feedback!
